TfL Refund Dashboard

Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the TfL Refund Dashboard website, account features or paid plans.

Last updated: 17 August 2026

TfL Refund Dashboard is an independent screening and organisation tool. It does not submit claims for you, guarantee a refund or make TfL's eligibility decision.

Using the service

You may use the dashboard for your own lawful journey records and refund claims. You are responsible for checking each journey before submitting anything to TfL and for ensuring that information you provide is accurate.

Do not use the service to submit false or misleading claims, upload information you are not entitled to use, interfere with the service, bypass plan limits, probe security controls or use automation that places unreasonable load on the website or TfL services.

Refund guidance

Calculated delays, disruption matches, eligibility labels, fare estimates and Railcard savings are indicators based on available data. Routes, caps, exclusions and operational records can affect the outcome. TfL decides whether a claim qualifies under its current rules.

Always review the official TfL refunds information before submitting a claim. This service is not financial or legal advice.

Accounts and data

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and signed-in devices secure. Tell support promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. How account and journey data is handled is described in the privacy notice.

You may use the dashboard while signed out. Features that require syncing, email automation or billing need an account.

Paid plans

Base and Plus are monthly subscriptions billed by Stripe at the price shown before checkout. Features and limits are described on the Plans page. You can manage or cancel a subscription through Manage billing in the dashboard; the Stripe portal will show when a change takes effect.

If a payment fails or a subscription ends, paid features may stop and the account returns to the Free plan. Existing account data is not immediately deleted solely because a paid plan ends, but paid history windows and automation limits apply.

Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but it may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party services, TfL API changes or events outside our control. Features may be corrected, replaced or withdrawn where reasonably necessary. Material changes to paid features will be communicated through the service where practical.

Ownership and third-party services

The dashboard's software, design and original content remain the property of their respective owner. Transport for London, TfL, Oyster and related marks belong to their respective owners. Links and integrations with TfL, Stripe, AWS or Google do not imply endorsement.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a promise that every delay, route or refund will be identified. We are not responsible for TfL's decisions, missed claim deadlines, third-party outages or losses caused by information you entered incorrectly. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending use and governing law

You can stop using the service at any time and delete journey data from the Account page. We may restrict access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, or where needed to protect users and the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting mandatory rights available to you as a consumer. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes.
